Hello everyone & happy 2018!Hope you all had a lovely time celebrating the new year. What did you get up to on New Year's Eve? Mine was spent with my boyfriend and our great friends, awesome tunes blasting in the background and having lots of laughs, just how I like it! For me, 2017 for the most part brought me so much happiness but it also came with a few unfortunate low points towards the end which sadly has continued into 2018 too. However, despite all of that I want to pursue 2018 with an incredible amount of positivity. So to begin with this positivity, I thought I'd share with you my personal highlights of 2017 which provided so many joyous, positive and surreal moments so I hope you enjoy reading them. Let's begin:
1. Visiting New York over New Year & seeing the fireworks display over the Statue of Liberty. Read more about this here.
2. Officially ticked iceskating at the Rockafeller Centre/seeing the giant Christmas tree at the Rockafeller Centre in New York off my bucket list. Read more about this trip here.
3. Grew deeper friendships on the group holiday to Mojacar in June.
4. Having the most incredible, amazing holiday in Santorini with my other half & getting to see the 3 blue dome churches in real life (will post this holiday up very soon!).
5. Turning 25 whilst in Santorini & celebrating by being on a sunset boat cruise. An amazing present from my other half.
6. Saw Take That, Liam Gallagher & Phil Collins live in concert.
7. Had a lovely, spontaneous trip to Edinburgh with the gang in October.
8. Had a relaxing getaway with my boyfriend at the KP lodge.
9. Got a puppy! Welcomed the adorable little Luna into our home. Read all about her here.
