It's the first week of June which, to my mind, means Summer is finally here!
I have always thought of June as the proper start of summer - the weather is usually at its best, the half term means that tourists descend on our seaside town along with the traveling fairgrounds and donkey rides - and all of those things combined just tell me it's Summer time at last!
With that in mind, I thought I would create a summer bucket list of all the things I want to do with my little family over the coming months - I find these lists so useful for inspiration on our days out, and I love to browse other peoples for ideas too so I thought I would share ours.
I'm hoping to be able to tick a fair few of these off all at once - an all day beach day combined with kite flying and trying a new ice cream flavor for example, and of course visiting St Ives and having a traditional British Seaside Holiday go hand in hand perfectly - I'm thinking caravan park, Kids discos and lots of Fish & Chips!
I've also tried to include some wet weather options such as staying indoors to make our own ice cream sundaes as lets face it - there's a STRONG chance that summer may be a wash out if this week has been anything to go by! ;)
