What is my dream vacation destination?
I have a confession to make… I am a dreamer.
I dream about all sorts of things. There are the typical dreams about my future goals, such as finishing my novel, starting a second one, and some day becoming a full-time earning writer. Then, there are the awkward dreams in which I’m speaking at an auditorium full of people and discover I’ve lost my clothing and/or the ability to form coherent sentences. In terms of vacation destinations, I dream of visiting the Maldives.
I’ve been to some impressive beaches in my life, but my gut tells me none of them compare to the crystal clear waters of the Maldives. The first time I laid my eyes on glossy photos of the Maldives in a tourist brochure, it was almost as though I fell into a trance. I knew right away that I had to experience it in person one day. If I’d had any floo powder on hand, I would have jumped into the nearest fireplace and willed myself there.
I just realized I have another item for my Bucket List!

1) Escape to the country.
2) Visit the Maldives.
