Well I’m finally coming down from the high of performing in front of 3 sold out crowds at Stage 52 playhouse for the play “It Always Rains on Sunday” written by Scherrie Payne. That was my first experience performing in front of star names such as Loretta Devine, Vanessa Bell Calloway, Bill Cobbs, Kenny Lattimore (whom I have interviewed on the red carpet at events), just to name a few! We also had industry talent agents and managers attend, theater producers as well as music producers, family and friends. It was one of the best experiences I’ve had working in the theater. I had forgotten how much hard work goes in to doing a play. I was able to work with an amazing director/producer Don B. Welch and a hugely talented cast, I definitely had to step up my game with this project lol! All my years of training and study prepared me to play the role of ”Louise Patterson” in “It Always Rains on Sunday”. I was challenged and pushed to my limit, and I loved it! I am so deeply grateful for this experience and I can honestly say that I have grown tremendously as an actor and as a person and I can’t wait to tackle my next project!~
