I was originally going to spook you all some more with some more ghostly encounters I've had over the years but I didn't know if you'd all had enough of that - but if you DO want to hear the rest of my encounters, just comment and let me know and I'll be sure to write them up another time!!
So instead, this week - I am inviting you all to experience an average day in my life!
For the whole day, I took photos of what we were doing so that I could give a sneak peek into our day to day lives....
And here it is!!
Tyne wakes up around this time every morning - he lays in his moses basket for a while cooing away while I wait for my eyes to stop seeing double!Once I'm with it, we get up and come down stairs - I change his nappy, and I always sit him up in the corner of the sofa and we have one of our "chats".
He's always happiest and most talkative first thing in the morning! (Unlike his Mummy!!!)
Tyne has his morning bottle, and while we're getting it ready - we prepare his bottles for the day by filling them up with 4 oz of boiled water and leaving them to cool.Then we pop them into the fridge, and when we need each one - we just top them up with an ounce of freshly boiled water which heats them through nicely!
Our post is delivered first thing and being a blogger means there are usually a few parcels arriving every day! Yippee!! This day was a great mail day!!!
After opening the mail, its time for breakfast - a bowl of Special K on this morning!
Then I take Tyne upstairs, dress him for the day and he has a little play under his activity gym.
By that time, its time for Tyne's next feed - as this was Jon's day off work, he fed Tyne this time. (As you can see, I changed his outfit again as it was a bit colder outside than I had first thought!)
Then Tyne & I have some cuddle time on the sofa and watch a bit of TV!
At around Noon, we headed out to a local park - we took Tyne in his pram to push him around as the sun had come out and we wanted him to get some fresh air.Whilst we were out I took some photos for some future Outfit Of The Day posts!
Then we got back into the car and drove to a local retail park as we had some bits & pieces of shopping to do....As always, Tyne fell fast asleep in his car seat!
Our first stop was M & S - Tyne LOVES sitting in the trolley seats and looking around whenever we go to supermarkets!
By this time I was starving, so I bought some ready to eat prawns and ate them in the car after we'd done the shopping!
Then we headed over to Mothercare/ELC - I hate the way Jon carries Tyne so low down!!!! That is my little car, Betsy :)
We had a good browse around Mothercare & Early Learning Centre - Jon was trying to get Tyne interested in the big inflatable dinosaur but he was having none of it!
Then it was home time! The first thing I did was unpack the shopping....
After the shopping was unpacked, Tyne was ready for his next feed.....
While Jon fed him, I caught up with some emails and wrote some blog posts....
Then its time to make dinner! This night we were having burritos and pepper rice
A little while later, it was ready....
While we eat, Tyne sits in his bouncer chair and watches us - we keep chatting to him and he's perfectly content to just sit there laughing at us!
On this particular evening, Tyne became a bit upset with teething pain so we gave him some calgel....
He snuggled in with Mummy for cuddles until he felt a bit better....
And then he was out for the count! As you all now know, I don't allow him to sleep upstairs in his basket by himself - so he usually sleeps on the sofa next to me!
I had a little snack.....
And Jon & I watched some TV and chatted until we finally headed to bed at around midnight!
And there we have it....A day in the life of Sparkles & Stretchmarks!
