Away from horizon
Away from sun
A ray came my way
Looked at my heart
Looked at the tell tale marks
It steered me away
From clandestine ways
Betrayal ,deception
And
Enlightened my heart
With its admonition ,appraisal
I stand one step away from
Eminence ,watch a new sun rise
Look at the new moon
That secretly smiles
When it looks at the gleam on my face
In my eyes ,when i smile
No more am afraid
Of formidable , his ways
His eyes , those seemed
Horrendous , intimidating till that day
In the nights
When I was awake , and would gaze
At the sky , look for one twinkle
That could brighten up my life
Fill me up with smiles
Now away from horizon , away from sun
Near the fresh water creek ,
In a sacramental valley
I pay my tribute to the ray
That enlightened my heart .
