Abandoned Dollhouses Paintings by Andrew McIntosh

Andrew McIntoshAndrew McIntosh aka Mackie is a talented artist and painter, who was born in the Highlands of Scotland in 1979. He recalled drawing from an early age, obsessively drawing and re-drawing pictures, trying to achieve perfect scale and efficient ways of devising images. Andrew paints a lot of abandoned buildings and trailers.
His paintings have a post-apocalyptic feel as if the masterpieces were hidden in these structures as a record of a time when cultural creativity was abundant. McIntosh’s paintings become fragmentary cultural and psychological spaces, a surreal art historical timeline, and a reflection of our identities and dreams for the future.
