Aloe Veda Aloe Vera Nourishing Skin Gel Review

Posted on the 12 May 2013 by Gayatri @LifeEssence2
Aloe Veda Aloe Vera Nourishing Skin Gel ReviewToday I’m here with another review and this time it’s on Aloe Veda’s aloe vera nourishing skin gel. I bought this long back and put it on observation and finally reviewing it today. Well, I won’t talk much and move to the review directly.

Price:INR 90/- for 125 grams
Packaging: As you can see it comes in a plastic tub with screw type plastic cap. The tub is transparent so we can see the gel from outside. The name itself indicates that it is a gel which is green in color with small white beads in it.
Shelf life: 3 years
Claims by the brand:Aloe Veda Aloe Vera Nourishing Skin Gel ReviewAloe vera gel is renowned for its incredible soothing, hydrating, and moisturizing properties – perfect for sensitive skin. It is grown without use of pesticides and is of the highest quality; natural, pure and preservative free.  Blended with green tea extracts, and vitamin E this light gel is perfect for all day use and keeps the skin healthy and moisturized.
Ingredients: Didn’t mention specifically. It’s written in the claims section itself.
My take on it:Aloe Veda Aloe Vera Nourishing Skin Gel ReviewThis is the first gel I’ve used. As you all know that my skin is a combination skin and have small skin pores due to which I don’t like to use heavy creams. The green colored gel with white small beads attracted me to get this. Since it’s a gel, it quickly gets absorbed into my skin easily. I feel it’s natural and light. When I stay indoors, I prefer to use this. Simply apply it after face wash and let your skin pores breath some air. Coming to the claims, it didn’t claim much to do as you can see. Green tea and vitamin E are very good for skin. It just keeps my skin light and hydrated. What else I need from this? In simple words, you can say that it is for those with sensitive skin. It keeps your skin healthy and hydrated with no side effects. But since it is a tub, you need to dip your finger which is unhygienic. I totally hate such packaging even if it looks cute. I'm also not impressed with the smell because it seems artificial. It smells like a perfume or so.
Pros:·   Affordable·   Travel friendly·   No side effectsAloe Veda Aloe Vera Nourishing Skin Gel Review
·   Non greasy·   Light weight on skin·   Keeps skin hydrated
Cons:·   Doesn’t have SPF. Well it’s a natural gel. I don’t expect any SPF from it.·   Full ingredients’ list is absent·   Tub packaging which is unhygienic·   Artificial smell
Will I repurchase? Yes of course.
