April Showers...

Posted on the 20 April 2015 by Lizb12 @elizabethbrinks
It's funny, this is the time of year I've been dreading since September, when I realized just how intense my AP classes were going to make my life. In my naivete I didn't take into account my three/four college visits, work, the soccer club starting, my dance reci-holy crap I'm complaining.
That's not what this blog is for, I'm sorry.
I guess I've just been a little busy, and it's kind of getting to me.
In other news I would like to make mention of the fact that my mother started a blog a couple years ago and has by far surpassed me on her views, number of followers and excitement/success-fullness pertaining to her blog. I'm  a little jealous-to make up for this I'm going to give her a shout out!
So, in lieu of my mother's new found fame, check out:
April showers... "The Sparkly Toad"  at https://thesparklytoad.wordpress.com/ My mom loves to crotchet and she's been doing it long before I was born and she's become quite successful at it and her creativity is out of this world. I'm proud to say that I did have a hand in helping her get started, but am also ashamed to say she's the more successful blogger of the two. I originally started out this blog as some sort of journal, usually bringing in my feelings on popular issues, but now that I've been steadily journaling for almost three years, I feel like I don't have as much to write to you guys. I'm going to keep writing, because this is something I really do love to do, and I promise that when exciting stuff does come up, and I'm definitely going to keep trying and coming back here, so no, I'm not taking a break. So, here's to bingeing on friend's episodes and the stress of our daily lives: Ya'll are doing fantastic, and you can make this week your week, and knock 'em dead! Quote of the day/week: "be stubborn about your goals but flexible about your methods." -Unknown to me God bless ya, LizB
