Going to the movies is not generally seen as an act of patriotism, but as we all know this past Christmas a certain threat against a certain movie made that a new reality.
And now, for those of us who didn’t dare tempt the hackers, or simply didn’t have any desire to see the movie no matter how patriotic of an action it may be. “The Interview” is coming to Netflix.
Now, and by now I mean tomorrow, when the movie will be available for streaming, you have no excuse…unless you’re one of those people who don’t have Netflix (I hear they still exist), America (pronounced ‘merica in situations such as these) needs you to sit through this movie that’s been hailed as mediocre, funny at times, and not terrible.
And at this point, it’s a patriotic duty that carries little to no effort, and a legitimately low-level of threat to your person. I have even heard that there are some people out there who actually enjoy the movie. You could be one of them! It could be your lucky day! You could discover your new favorite movie and support your country all from the comfort of your own couch. So, that really just leaves you with one question: Do you feel lucky?
