Today is a happy day for muggles and wizards alike with the long-awaited release of “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them” (yes, it’s a mouthful).
You’ll have to wait till next week for our review, but that’s not going to keep me from geeking out today.This Harry Potter prequel gives us muggles (or is it no-maj) our first glimpse into the wizarding world of the United States, which up until now has only been briefly mentioned in the Harry Potter books. As the title would suggest, we also get to meet some new magical (some might say fantastic) creatures.
Most importantly, it allows us Potterheads (and those who’ve yet to realize they’re Potterheads) to revisit and dive even further into the magical world created by J.K. Rowling. Which right now, is a world that our reality could learn a thing or two from.
So bring on the dragons and trolls and bowtruckles (oh my!) and another magical adventure!
