Happy Father’s Day! Especially to our own dad, but also to all the father’s out there reading this blog today.
It occurred to us during our weekly blockbuster viewing yesterday (“Man of Steel” review will be coming on Friday) that it seems somewhat appropriate that the latest Superman movie would be released on Father’s Day weekend.
Both because the movie itself has a strong fatherhood theme, and because at one time or another, we’ve all thought our dads were Superman.
They may not wear the red cape, but they do know how to change a flat tire, file taxes, help you move into your new apartment and your newer apartment…I think you get the point.
So today take a moment to thank your dad. Happy Father’s Day and thank you to our dad and all dads for all that you do. Hope you’re having a wonderful Father’s Day!
