As an online influencer, it's very crucial for me to stay online and connected to my audience every single day. Since I love to share my stories online, I make sure that my photographs are clear, beautiful and relatable. I recently got my hands on Huawei P9 and it totally changed my game the way I work, blog, and take photos for Instagram and social media.
THE AESTHETICS
I have the Prestige Gold with 32GB memory (expandable through Micro SD and 3GB RAM).
It's a love at first sight kind of story when I opened the box. People know how much I love anything in gold / gold and white. The classy feel of Huawei P9 in Prestige Gold has totally got me. It's also sleek and very handy with its 5.2 inches Gorilla Glass display. The curved edges and frame make it more sophisticated. The finger sensor at the back is so helpful for me.
It can hold either 2 micro sim cards or 1 micro sim card and an SD Card to expand memory. This slot is located on the left side.
Huawei P9 is slim with 6.95mm thin body. You can find here at the bottom the speakers, charger input, and regular 3.5mm audio jack.
THE CAMERA
The most interesting part of this phone is the dual rear camera by Leica. Each has 12MP sensors to produce really high quality photos, zooming in to focus on the subject of your photo was never a problem.
My favorite part in taking photos with Huawei P9, you can play custom settings of the camera like adjust the ISO, shutter speed, f-stops and so on depending on your preference or daylight situation to capture your best photograph.

No digital camera? No problem. Huawei P9 (both front and rear camera) takes really good photos. It's very useful for me during blogger events to capture moments for my blog.

WHAT I LOVE WITH HUAWEI P9
- Design (Prestige Gold) and how dual cameras, finger print scanner, and other details were laid out at the back.
- Sleek design, not so heavy, and very slim
- Long Battery Life - can last the whole day even while playing PokemonGo.
- Superb camera - Some may find it not the best out there but it works great. I know some people ask me for a phone that I can recommend that they can also use for taking photos for their blog and videos for YouTube and I can definitely recommend this phone!
- Responsive - One of my pet peeves with android phones, responsiveness. So happy that this phone is at par with iPhone6.
- Finger print sensor is very helpful for faster usability.
- SOUNDS! - Of course, as a musically inclined person, sound quality is important to me and I'm so happy to let you know guys that it sounds really good! Both in speaker and headphones.
WHAT I THINK THEY CAN IMPROVE
Nothing much really but for the camera, more improvement for low-light is highly appreciated. Though it's cheaper compared to other competitors, maybe they can have promos and bundles for their customers.
IS IT WORTH IT?
My review is solely based on a customer's perspective. If I'm gonna shell out more or less 20k for a phone, I will include HuaweiP9 in my choices. The sleek design and great camera is a win for me.
