What do you find is your favorite "stuff" made just for you? (one, solo, single, uno)? It may be a food, appliance or anything noteworthy, that you absolutely think is made just for your single selves...
For my 40th birthday, I was given a single serve coffee maker - a nice gift that serves one. I was not expecting an appliance, but I was pleasantly surprised. I had to relearn how to brew coffee, because this is a completely difference experience. Anyway, the coffee for this type of brewing system is so varied, there are literally hundreds of different flavors and types of coffees that you can buy.
With many people getting these types of coffee makers lately, it dawned on me that singles are being thought of after all! No more big coffee pot brewing for 10-12 people...just a single cup made for someone just like you who is naturally alone! First favorite discovery...
My second favorite discovery is a single serve dessert found in the frozen food section (by the frozen cakes and pies). I wasn't sure if I could mention it here...but, I think you'd be able to find it regardless...Wow...what a great idea! Why buy the whole pie when you may just want a little nibble here and there...or want to treat yourself to a solo "night in" or for something special that you just achieved (think small successes or anytime treats!)
I notice now, that more foods are coming in single serve portions. Take a look around the grocery store. I know you're trying to stretch your neck to look beyond the 16 pack of paper towels and family size muffins...but, someone is finally thinking of you...Yeah!
For awhile there, I was thinking that the whole world revolved around bulk and super size items, but I think "we're" finally catching up! What do you think?
