Biz Nonna's

Posted on the 09 April 2013 by Paige
On Saturday me and my sister went to Biz Nonna's house (great grandmother) for a sleep over. I don't know my great grandmother that well and I think she forgot who we were but she wanted company for the night and enjoyed us being there. All we really did was sit on the couch and watch TV and have tea and cookies together. Apparently she doesn't cook anymore, but I heard she used to make the best sauce and meatballs. Her ninetieth birthday is in June.
I slept okay, I woke up from outside noises a couple times and there was this weird buzzing noise in the house. She probably doesn't notice it because she's almost deaf. They had WiFi there, I didn't really use it but my sister did.
Yesterday we went out to dinner at The Q for Grandma's birthday. Uncle Richard, Aunt Vic and Will came too. I got a vegetarian burger. It was one of about only two things that were vegetarian on the menu. The bun and the Burger were very dry and the tomatoes were over ripe. The onion rings barely had any onion in them and were nearly burnt, the fries were too dry and crispy for my liking but the lettuce was good. I ate the whole thing though, but I prefer Hero Burger's Sol Burger. Aunt Vic's slavaki looked good but it had meat. My sister got poutine with chicken and it looked really good. Maybe I should have gotten the curry but I had curry on Sunday.
Today I went horseback riding. The horse I was riding, Tic Tac, was being a real jerk and didn't want to trot. He seemed to get worse as the lesson went on and kept throwing his head around trying to knock the reins out of my hands. I have to be more serious with him next time but he's so cute I don't want to hit him.
