Blow The Hookah

Posted on the 12 June 2016 by Meera
When you think of casual dining or chilling out on a Saturday evening with friends in Bangalore, a bar or a cafe is the first thing pops out of your head. But for a change, how about a Hookah Cafe? Sounds fun, right? Blow is one such place located at the heart of the city. When they called me on a special invite, there's no reason I could say no.Blow The Hookah
Situated among a variety of dining and bar at MG Road, Blow stands out by calling itself a Resto Cafe. I walked in and a waiter was there to take me to the table reserved. But I decided to scout the place before settling. The wall painting at the entrance gave me slightly an Arabian feel. The white wall decorated with frames that talk about good food complemented the overall look.Blow The Hookah

The lighting was good and the spacious sofas were accentuated with comfortable cushions. The mosaic tiles in the table was lovely and that set the mood of the room. But the interior was more of a fusion than one particular style.

I spotted a hookah which looked like Aladdin's lamp. It was rich and decorative. I struck a conversation with the Cafe Manager while munching the starter and learnt that their Hookahs were imported from Amsterdam. The customers get an exclusive experience of these vacuum flavored hookahs with designer LED lighting up at the bottom. At a nominal price one can experience these Hookahs with a decent dining. The starter, Garlic Bread served with Cheese and Basil Tomato salsa dip was quite appetizing.

He suggested me to try their Cranberry Sparkle. It was so vibrant, tangy and sweet. I enjoyed every sip of it.

I was hungry for more appetizers. If there is any dish which is prefixed with Prawns, I won’t hesitate to try it. Chermoula Prawns - Prawns marinated with Moroccan spice and grilled with Olive oil served with bed of corn petals and Basil Mint mayo. The mayo was delectable on the perfectly grilled prawns. The taste was unique and with no second thoughts, I'd say this is a must try at Blow.

Time for the main course. We all know, time will fly just like that when we spend with friends and so we need some good food to kill the hunger and also to keep the spirit of conversation and fun. For the main course, I felt like having a burger. Even though they had a wide range of pasta, sandwiches and chef’s grill, Greek Burger was my choice. The patty of ground lamb minced with onion fresh oregano and grilled top with Feta cheese and olives was too good. Accompanied with French fries, it was delightfully full to call off my dinner.

I went to Blow expecting average food with some fancy Hookahs to attract the crowd, but I did have a good time to brag about and certainly looking forward to visit again with my friends. I left Blow with a happy face and would recommend it to anyone who fancies a decent meal or just a smoke. It costs approximately INR 1000-1500 for two.
There are interesting range of Hookahs available to try, like Double Apple, Kiwi, Lemon and more.

Blow is a nice Hookah Lounge to hangout with friends on a weekend. Not to miss the good food they offer and colored & flavored Hookahs to smoke.
