I actually wrote my list yesterday, so I could have it posted today. We had perfect weather for Easter weekend. Yesterday morning we had breakfast with my family at my mom's house and watched the kids play at the park for awhile. Then we drove up to the valley and had lunch with Andy's family. We spent most of the afternoon just chillin' outside in the yard and visiting. It was perfect. The sun was shining and the flowers and birds made an appearance. If every day could be so awesome!!
I started a new book yesterday and I can already tell I'm going to fly through it. This weekend we also made some progress in the yard. We weeded a long neglected border and started working on removing an annoying tree stump. We also borrowed the tiller from Andy's dad so we can get the garden started. It's time to plant finally. We ended the evening with Game of Thrones season 2 from Netflix.
Today I start my new job. I'm back at Weber State after a brief stint working for the Weber County public libraries. I've come to realize that I truly love being in an academic library. I just didn't get the same satisfaction in the public setting. I love academia in all it's forms and I cannot wait to be back home on campus. I truly love WSU and am so grateful I made the decision to get my degree there years ago. It was a difficult one, leaving my friends in the valley, but it was the best choice for me. Now, years later, Weber has given me so much and I am excited to continue my career there and be back with the staff and faculty that I love.
