Brympton House Church Wedding: Previews

Posted on the 29 August 2016 by Belinda Mccarthy @b_mccarthyphoto

How wonderful it was to be back to photograph this Brympton House church wedding! Brympton House is one of my most photographed wedding venues in the past few years, and when you work at a wedding venue on a regular basis, it's easy to forget just how amazing it is for people seeing it for the first time - and this gorgeous medieval manor house in Somerset definitely has the uber-wow factor, judging from the delighted faces and amazed comments from the guests at Friday's wedding day.

I was particularly excited to shoot this wedding at Brympton House, for the bride and groom had chosen to hold their wedding ceremony in the St Andrews Church adjacent to the main house, which would originally have been built for the family in residence to worship in. As the church is quite small, it's not often that I have couples who can utilise the space - but Friday's wedding guests JUST about managed to squeeze in, which was fantastic! It's always wonderful for weddings guests to be able to hold everything in one place and save on travel time between ceremony and reception. More time for enjoyment and celebrating, after all!)

So I was SO happy to be back at Brympton House photographing another beautiful wedding - and extra thrilled to be in St Andrews Church to photograph the ceremony, for I knew that this was a HUGE part of the day for the couple, filled with so much meaning. The ceremony was officiated in a very special manner, too, as the couples' own parish vicar travelled to Brympton House to work in unison with the local dean to create an extra special ceremony for the bride and groom. Of course, it was important for everyone that he stayed for the rest of the day to experience the whole wedding!

So, it's time to share a few previews from this lovely, lovely Brympton House church wedding, with a truly gorgeous bride - and what a LOVELY couple to work for, too. The bride and groom wrote to me after seeing these to say, 'Thank you very much indeed for these. We are absolutely thrilled with the photos. They are brilliant! (The Bride) looks just totally stunning. What a fabulous record of our day. It was a delight to have you there. Thank you very much. We look forward to seeing the full set!'
