These cuties were sent by Burst Of Happyness last month for review purpose :) If you guys read my review on Burst Of Happyness ~ Green Tea Soap , I had mentioned my wishlist and Shreya (owner of BOH) sweetly asked me if I would like to review 2 samples and how could I say no after trying out the first 2 samplers from her :)
So, Here we go…
1. Cool As A Cucumber
What it claims: Cucumber is excellent for skin care as it helps in soothing and softening your skin. It also has skin whitening and astringent properties. This bar has a cooling and refreshing blend of essential oils of eucalyptus, ylang ylang, rosemary and lavender. It is enriched with Cocoa Butter which nourishes and moisturizes the skin. Definitely great for use in the summers!
Ingredients: Cucumber juice, palmolein, coconut oil, olive oil, sunflower oil, lye, cocoa butter, essential oils, colorant.
Fragrance and Texture : It has a very refreshing smell which freshens up the mind immediately :) Texture wise it lathers well and is extremely gentle.
My take on it:
I love its bright Green color…it’s a delight to my eyes, every morning :) Even the smallest quantity lathers well . I really like how it cleanses the skin leaving it soft and glowy for a long time. Though I didn’t really notice any skin whiening as claimed but It keeps the oiliness in control if used on face regularly.
It’s a must have soap for the Summers!!

2. Ocean Bed
What it Claims: Dead Sea Mud has the ability to moisturize and hydrate skin, which helps to reduce wrinkles. It also unclogs the pores which result in purified skin and healthier texture. It is enriched with Cocoa Butter which nourishes and moisturizes the skin.
Ingredients: Aqua, palmolein, coconut oil, olive oil, sunflower oil, lye, cocoa butter, dead sea mud, essential oils.
What is Dead Sea Mud and how it is beneficial for the skin?
Dead Sea mud is found and extracted from the Earth’s lowest levels. The reason Dead Sea Mud works great for the skin lies in its rich elements which includes Dead Sea salts and minerals such as magnesium, potassium, calcium, natural tar etc . This not only improves the blood circulation but also help in skin regeneration.
Fragrance and Texture: It has a very mild earthy muddy fragrance which is hardly noticeable. And texture wise its extremely gentle on the skin and has very fine granules which help in exfoliation.
My take on it:When I first used it, I was a bit surprised to see that it didn't lather much but I was really happy with the result. It cleanses the skin beautifully leaving it fresh and I could feel my pores breathing. My skin feels smooth, clear and radiant every time I use it. Its light grainy texture helps in regular dead skin exfoliation too. So If you are looking for a soap that’s not harsh, soap free and takes care of your skin like a baby then this one is for you!!
Positives:Has a beautiful mild earthy fragrance.Cleanses the skin from deep within.Unclogs the pores.
There is just one Negative that being chemical free these soaps have a tendency of melting quickly.
So, that’s how I feel about these lovely soaps and I must say till now none of the soaps have disappointed me even a single bit.. BOH has a great range of Soaps and Facial Clay Cleansers which will cater to all your skin worries!!
