Happy National Hot Dog Day!
I know, this is getting ridiculous, but it’s hot dogs. How could I skip this?
That would be like skipping Apple Pie Day (it’s in May) or Baseball Day (April through October…unless your a Cubs fan).
Hot dogs are an integral part of the fabric of America. After all what is freedom about if not the right to eat hot dogs. And we as Americans make the most of that God-given right.
Yes, our love for this mystery-meat sausage may be extreme at times, but in many ways America is like one giant hot dog.
We’re not always sure what we’re made of, but 90 percent of the time we’re delicous. Okay, that sounded a little canibalistic, but you know what I mean. We may not always be palatable, but give us a little catsup or mustard and we’re usually tolerable.
