Happy Christmas in July and day one of the Democratic National Convention!
Whether you fall on the left, right, or somewhere in between, it may be hard to get in the fake holiday spirit. It might also be tempting to start tuning all the noise out, but fight the urge.Don’t think of this week’s Democratic National Convention as more politicians (and whoever was speaking at the RNC) pandering to the crowd, think of it as round two of a two-week circus…leading into a four-ish month circus.
And who doesn’t love the circus?
Okay, that may not be the strongest sell. But seriously, whether you’re a member of the GOP or a Democrat through and through, it’s important to hear both sides. You should always know who and what you’re disagreeing with.
So, suck it up and get in the holiday spirit…only four-ish more months to go.
