WHAT’S IN A NAME? A LIFETIME’S SUPPLY OF SHRIMP
It has been 20 years since Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. opened its first restaurant in Monterey on Cannery Row in California. Launched as homage to Forrest Gump, it captured the charm and American spirit that had made the movie a worldwide smash hit. Two decades on and the restaurant is itself a global phenomenon, not least in the UK.
In celebration of the restaurant’s 20th anniversary, Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. is offering an exciting opportunity to all those mega shrimp fans out there.
The first person, aged 16 or over, to change their name by deed poll to ‘Bubba’ will be rewarded with a lifetime supply of shrimp – a daily shrimp based meal such as Shrimpers Heaven or a preferred value equivalent, at the London branch.
