Seeing as it's also What to Watch Wednesday, I'm proclaiming today What Skallywags to Watch Wednesday.
What makes a pirate watch-worthy?
To that question there be no easy answer. They should be unpredictable, but not to too much of a degree. They should live by a code (hence the limits on unpredictability). And above all else, in search of the horizon, they should always be.
That is, after all, the appeal of pirates. It's the absolute freedom and the constant search for some new adventure.
