Designed to hold most devices including games controllers and even smart phones, these little guys aren't just cute but they're also incredibly useful and they power up your device too!  Available in a whole range of designs including characters from Borderlands, Sega and Ubisoft games. My kids are huge fans of fun family games, and - thanks no doubt to YouTube - family "challenge" style games are their favourite! My eldest son is also very much your typical 6 year old boy in that one of his favorite things in the world is a whoopee cushion!
So Whoopee Doo from Ideal Games is the perfect game for him!  The game involves each player taking a turn to sit on the giant whoopee cushion and answer as many questions as they can before the timer runs and the whoopee cushion lets out a massive trump! The player who manages the most questions, wins!
Suitable for 2 or more players, and recommended for age 4+ - available from all good toy retailers.

Science In Wonderland from John Adams is the perfect way to combine a super cute fairy garden set with some fab educational early STEM activities.
The super cute playset allows children to experiment with things such as creating a color changing butterfly, exploring with a kaleidoscope and more.
Suitable for ages 5+ and available from all good toy retailers, this is the perfect combination of adorable fun and fantastic learning opportunities for little ones.

If your child is a fan of gaming, watching YouTube or even just listening to music - then junior headphones are well worth investing in but you need to be sure that your choosing safe options.
Junior Jams Bluetooth Headphones from Puro Sounds are the ideal choice - Puro Sounds are already well known for their Healthy Ears Headphones, and have now expanded to produce these innovative headphones which offer superior sound quality, comfortable noise isolation and effective volume limiting. They are designed to be comfortable to wear, and provide fantastic sound without the need for loud volume - infact they don't allow children to use hearing-damaging levels so you don't need to worry.

It just doesn't feel like Christmas in our house without Playmobil - my children all adore the range, and each year there are at least two or three Playmobil items on their wish lists.
From the hospital and police stations, to the Egyptian pyramids and Viking Longboats - we have so many items from the Playmobil range and they're each played with daily! I love buying Playmobil items as I can be confident that they'll last well, and that they offer a great deal of imaginative play opportunities to the children.
This Playmobil Magic Crystal Palace is sure to be a hit with any Princess or Fantasy loving child this Christmas.
It  includes an Ice Queen, Ice Princess and Royal Guard and features a royal throne room, a bedroom with with a dressing area and extra clothes for the Princess to wear, a secret staircase to the watchtower, a lockable entrance gate and so much more.
There's even a light-up Crysta in the basement! This enchanting set will provide hours of magical imaginative play for children.
Available from all good toy retailers or find out more at www.playmobil.co.uk

Is it even Christmas if you don't have a family board game night?! I don't think so - and this year we'll be playing The Very Merry Christmas Game!
It's a great game to play in teams so ideal for use at family gatherings, or it can also be played by 2-4 individual players too.
The aim of the game is to move around the board collecting presents, but not all of the presents are nice! Throughout the game players will get the chance to steal presents from other players, and there's all sorts of festive fun involved throughout - including some carol singing forefeits!
This is a great festive game and the perfect addition to a family Christmas gathering - available from John Lewis and Debenhams for just £20!

If you're a fan of creating family traditions, then one of my absolute favourites is making up Christmas Eve boxes for the children.
In previous years I've always stuck with a family box, but this year I've decided to do individual boxes and I loved the idea of choosing special personalised boxes that the children could have as keepsakes once they're grown up to remind them of their childhood Christmases.
These stunning  32cm x 32cm wooden boxes feature the most beautiful festive illustration and can be personalised with the name of your choice up to 15 characters. They're big enough to hold a pair of pyjamas, some hot chocolate, festive treats and a DVD or book - so the perfect size in my opinion! Not too big or too small. I can't wait to see the children's faces when they find these under the tree on Christmas Eve!
Available HERE from www.thepersonalisedgiftshop.co.uk who offer a whole range of stunning gift ideas for every occasion.

Another great stocking filler I found from The Gift Experience was this cute Colour Changing Moon Light.
This cute little lamp would make the perfect addition to the bedroom of any space enthusiast as a sweet little night light, or can be used as mood lighting with 16 different color settings to choose from.
It can also be controlled by remote control too - available HERE for just £12.99
