I've been driving around exchanging Christmas presents, running around in my moms place like a crazy person, fighting of spider webs with a mop, throwing away old electronics from the days when my Dad lived. I've managed to make my fathers old room into a hobby room in one day, I made two batches of pistachio biscottis and I even arranged flowers (the left photo). I feel like a tornado. One that is about to collapse into permanent exhaustion. I think that both S and I realized today what a grown-up Christmas means. I also realize why people get into fights before Christmas. There are just to many things to be done before Christmas can be perfect - just too many expectations - too many tasks, when all we really want to do is to relax and be together.
Oh, I really hope you guys are not experiencing the Christmas madness, the same way I am...
