I have been wanting to do this link up for some time. I really don't know why I haven't but it seems like a great place to start. My faith is something that I haven't really discussed much on this blog and something in the next year that I am wanting to elaborate more on. So for every Wednesday I will talking about faith or in some way or another.
I will save my testimony and journey for another day. I have planned to share a variety of ways to study the Word. Which is my biggest weakness right now.
Generosity is a tough subject to talk about this month because it is the season of giving, but our attitudes are not in the season of giving. I work at a bank as my full time job, and some of our customers aren't in the holiday spirit. They want their money NOW and if they have to wait that's just unacceptable. (I could write a post about everything our customers want from us that we can't do all day but that's not what this post is all about. Also could probably get in trouble too.)
The holiday season is all about serving others and be a blessing in each others life. It is so easy to get all caught up in our own lives that we forget really what this season is all about.
I feel as a believer I want to be generous with my time and energy. I want to be the light in a place where darkness exist. I want to be a good example of someone with faith. I want to grant the same type of grace and margin that is given to me. I struggle with this daily, and re-submit myself to the Lord daily.
This season and going into 2015 I want to be more generous and intentional with my time, energy and money.
