Cruising

Materialistic, maybe?

Something I’ve worked damn hard for… definitely!
I’ve always worked, I am dedicated, hard working, committed to everything I do, employee. So why not, why keep waiting?

I’ve never really been car crazy, of course I like a nice car… I grew up around nice cars. My father loved them and had them! I grew up respecting cars. “Don’t slam the door”, wash them every weekend, always being careful around [my father's] cars. As for me, I appreciate a nice car but have been more about practicality and raising a family. A necessity. Now I’m an empty nester.

I’ve always wanted, as long as I can remember a BMW, better yet, a convertible BMW. We bought an old BMW once, a very long time ago, can’t even remember the model. It was missing an engine! Ha! A “project”… well it was towed to our house and towed away months later. Without a thing being done to it.

So at 45, a career for the last 25 years, I got it! A convertible BMW and I’m pretty darn excited. I do love this car and now understand the parking away from other cars, the constant “checking up” on it (like a family member) making sure it is okay and naming it. Have I gone mad!?! It’s a car! Maybe, though I’m having fun with it.

Here it is my new car. I’m so grateful, hard work and perseverance does pay off. Thankful for my amazing husband who works so hard and always provides for our family! I couldn’t do it without him. We are a great team. Thank you!

Thank you for letting me be a bit ostentatious,

Cruising
