Day 15: Bitter Pills

Posted on the 15 April 2012 by Sarahkasm @Sarahkasm
Speaking what is on my mind is harder than
Writing what was on the tip of my tongue
At least I can snatch it with swift fingers
Otherwise,
It struggles to rush back down my throat
Truth is a heavy word to speak
And a tough pill
Hard to swallow
I always choked on pills
The thought of the cure itself made me sick
But they tell me I've outgrown sweet syrup
So, truth, I guess it's just you and me
And a gallon of salty water
