Day 29: Scars

Misunderstanding can be
A chipped domino falling
Building a house of wet cards
Scrubbing dry skin raw
Painful
Hard to fix
 Just because
You've been injured
By a thousand cuts
Served from the tongues of hypocrites
Doesn't mean that every lover you meet
Using the same words
Is anything like them
 Misunderstanding can be
A phobia of déjà vu
Like a man of great technique once said
"You can make the future
But it starts with leaving the past."
So, when do you intend to not fear love?
