The countdown to Christmas continues, and with only 10 days to go, those still in the midst of their holiday shopping are starting to feel the heat.
If that’s not enough pressure to send you running for the nearest shopping mall, then consider the fact that today is the busiest shipping day of the year.
That means if your holiday gifts aren’t on their way today, you may be spending a little extra to make sure they beat Santa to their destination.
The US Postal Service expects to process 640 pieces of mail today. In addition to that jaw-dropping number, FedEx is anticipating 22.6 million shipments, today alone.
Keep in mind, that’s just today, which is a small fraction of the total numbers for the season.
With those numbers in mind, I’ll let you get back to your list, and the long line at the post office.
