Spacio's new store in Mumbai, designed by Navin Kanodia, strategically highlights its products while maintaining a welcoming ambience.

Standing true to its belief of 'Seeing is Believing', the new Spacio store has been designed as an 'experience store' to let the customer soak in the latest international trends.

has set up its exclusive store in Mumbai. Spread across a sprawling 3,000 sq. ft., the swanky store houses an eclectic collection of 20 iconic brands from 15 countries. The interiors of store has been conceptualised and designed by the brand's Creative Head and Interior Stylist Navin Kanodia along with Amit Porwal of Icon Projects.

Explaining about the store interiors, Kanodia says, "The aim of the store is to invite the customers to walk in and witness the beauty of the handpicked collection and get inspired by it. We have brought in the most celebrated design brands from all over the world and our idea is to let the customer experience these masterpieces. The store is not just a home decor destination; it has been created to provide a unique experience to the customers that would inspire their imagination".

Impressive Interiors

The beautifully designed interiors draws attention to the various focal points created to encourage the customers to witness state-of-the-art craftsmanship and international designs. The store ceiling is painted black to absorb and direct the visitor's eyes to the floor. The floor has been done in ceramic tiles with cement finish whereas the specific corners and focal points are highlighted with strategic spotlights. The interior has been designed and stylised to create an alluring ambience and thus drawing the visitors to easily navigate through the latest collections from various brands.

The muted palette of the store acts as a background for the high-end décor products. The lighting, especially the strategically placed spotlights enhances the beauty of the products and make them stand out.

Taking maximum advantage of the decorative products, sections (room like setting) have been created to give a real-time feel of the décor to the customers.

The store houses a wide collection of décor and accessories handpicked from the world's most iconic brands like Artisan House (USA), Maleras (Sweden), Toast Living (Taiwan), Leitmotiv, Planika Fires, SERIP. It also has a range of contemporary clocks from NeXtime (Netherlands), Haoshi (Taiwan), Nomon (Spain), Tothora (Spain), Karlsson (Netherlands) and Progetti (Italy). The other collection on display include Dome deco, B&F(Germany), CRAVT (Netherlands), Mario Cioni (Italy), Tondo Doni (Italy) and many more celebrated brands.

Now, the retail brand is currently looking forward to expand its retail footprint across key locations in India. It already has stores in Chandigarh, Kolkata and Surat. Moreover, the brand also plans to add up another 50,000 sq. ft. retail space over 10 exclusive brand stores across India.
