This What to Watch Wednesday isn’t just any What to Watch Wednesday, it’s also National Wine Day!
To help you celebrate the day, I’m sharing my favorite, wine-inspired movies and television shows. So, pour yourself a glass of your favorite, be it red, white, or rosé, and enjoy!
First up, a movie that is required viewing for any wine lover, “Bottle Shock.” This movie not only features a pre-Star Trek Chris Pine rocking the ugliest wig you’ve ever seen, but one of Alan Rickman’s greatest moments on film (you’ll know it when you see it), and Bill Pullman’s there too!
Next, let’s jump on over to the small screen with “Cougar Town,” a show with a confusing misnomer of a title, a hilarious cast, and more wine than you could possibly imagine (unless you’ve ever seen a moment of this show).
And finally, a show that I resisted for a whole 3 seasons, and now love (because it’s amazing), “Scandal.” Yes, this show is about Olivia Pope, the badass of D.C., and Olivia Pope is all about her red wine and popcorn.
