When it comes to makeups, local beauty brands make sure they are up to par with their international drugstore brand competitors. I actually encourage you to purchase our local beauty products than invest your money on fake makeups where your health and beloved skin can be at risk.
One of the first ever makeup brands that I was able to try is Ever Bilena. I was still a student back then and my budget was limited (money that I saved from my small school allowance). It’s nice to see them continue to improve their products and now they launched their newest brand under Ever Bilena Cosmetics called EB Advance. They recently released their newest lipstick line, EB Advance Supreme Lipsticks.
EB Advance Supreme Lipsticks come in 12 shades and 2 finishes, 6 creme and 6 matte. They sent me 5 shades to try out, 4 of which are creme and 1 matte. As I grow older, I prefer matte finish lippies but still, I love satin and creme finishes for ordinary days and depending on the occasion I’ll be going to.
The lipsticks are infused with Vitamin-E and moisturizing ingredients to flaunt your luscious lips.
Lipstick shades are named after famous beauty icons and unique colors.

FINISH
Creme ones are good. They are very moisturizing plus they make the lips looking plump and healthy. I only have 1 matte, Summer Berry. It’s not as super matte compared to other mattes from different brands that I’ve tried but it’s pigmented, opaque, and moisturizing.

LONGEVITY
I give them two thumbs up for this. Both creme and matte ones are very long-wearing even if I eat and drink, the lipstick leaves a nice tint on the lips. Of course, matte finish lasts longer compared to creme. Reapplication may be needed if your lips already look patchy by the end of the day. It still looks pretty decent on me for 5-6 hours without eating / drinking.
SCENT
EB Advance lipsticks smell like candies, kinda strong but it fades after application. I love scented makeups. However, if you prefer unscented products, you should take note of this.
PACKAGING
Simple and safe colors for the packaging. The bullet is very light-weight but doesn’t look cheap. It’s something you can put on and display on your vanity. The finish is stamped at the bottom of the box (but not in the bullet sticker) together with the shade name. There’s a manufacturing date so you can track until when it’ll be safe to use before it expires.
Overall thoughts, P195.00 per tube of 3.5g lipstick, not bad at all. They are good quality makeups and it’s from the makers of Ever Bilena. Affordable and great for everyday use. It comes in 12 shades so you have plenty of choices. My most favorite shades are Twiggy and Jackie-O, both work on different makeup looks.
