Dear Diary,

I’m going to have to make a really tough decision – who I’ll live with and where I’ll live next year. I went flat hunting, for the people that have found a place but need more flatmates. That’s right, I’m going to live with random people next year, people that I’ve only met once or twice.

Well today I went to visit 2 potential places for me to live next year. One was nice, it was a pleasant 6 bedroom flat with 2 girls and 1 guy currently wanting to flat there as well. They’re looking for 3 more people. I met the 2 girls today and they were really nice people, really easy to get along with and possibly the generic half introvert, half extrovert type of people. The location was pretty good, it’s about a 5-10 minute walk to uni, which is fair. The flat was in really good condition, nothing damaged, good paint job etc.

The other flat on the other hand – wow! I have to say, it wasn’t in the best of conditions and there were 3 girls living there looking for a forth. They’re all 3rd years next year and I’ll only be a second year. They said they didn’t mind a second year guy living with them, but i would feel like the forth wheel or something. They were such extroverted people as well, that also drunk lots of alcohol and get up to crazy stuff. This is the kind of stuff I want! Living life while you are young, but is it too far. I can make judgments on them and they do seem like the party girl type.

Decisions, decisions. To choose the life that I’ve always wanted – parties, alcohol, bad decisions etc. or to carry on my calm life and go with the decent ones that are easy to get along with for me? I’m so confused, I can’t decide. It is an opportunity of a lifetime, to live with party girls. The one thing I’ve always wanted. But then, it’ll be for a whole year. What if it doesn’t work out? I don’t know if I’ll just be wasting money.

But whatever I decide, I’ll keep track of my adventures here on this diary blog.

Yours, -Harper
