If you woke up this morning feeling a little less relevant and mildly obsolete, you might be the (now) less-than-proud owner of an iPhone 4.
With this morning’s launch of the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus, along with the new iOS 8, the new and shiny put the technological, proverbial nail in the coffin for these former trailblazers.
Out of respect for the phones that paved the way for the selfie machines we now know and love, I thought it was only right we take a moment to remember the good old days, just 4 short years ago:
I’ll give you a minute to collect yourselves, it’s okay to cry, as long as they’re happy tears.
As new tech continually streams out into the market, it can be easy to scoff at the more dated models, but what would the iPhone 6 be without the iPhone 4?
Literally, I suppose it would be the iPhone 5s, but don’t be a smart ass. The point is, if you see an iPhone 4 still up and running, doing the best it can, making its way in this world. Don’t feel pity, show some respect, if not to your technological elders then for the fact that someone still has the patience to wait that long for an app to load.
