As I'm sure everybody knows by now thanks to facebook and just general word of mouth, Brian Griffin the beloved talking dog of the Griffin household was killed off in Sunday's episode 'Life of Brian' after getting hit by a car, leaving fans every where stunned and not really sure what to make of the direction the show may be heading in.
In response thousands of fans have launched a petition demanding Fox and the show's creators bring Brian back. Around 25,000 fans of the show have signed a petition on Change.org to resurrect the character. The site reads.
The writers of family guy didn't just kill off one of their creations, they killed off the dog who has lived in our homes for the last 15 years. They killed the dog we all have come to love. They killed America's dog!
Representatives for Fox have so far declined to comment on Brian's death.
