I was sent this picture by a gentlemen who pointed out to me that the Corporation of London just don't plant bollards in the centre of London.
If you happen to be out in the suburbs of London you'll find open spaces that are the responsibility of the Corporation of London and here to prove the case is a bollard planted near a grass verge.
