Lindsay recently visited the studio for a portrait shoot - and I wish I'd videoed her reaction when she saw her final images at the reveal session, as she was so excited that it almost brought me to tears!
For Lindsay's shoot, she wore four outfits of her own, plus one from our studio wardrobe. We kept her hair classically elegant throughout, but changed her makeup from light and natural to more smokey-eyed and dramatic through the shoot, to provide a change of look to suit the outfits she wore.
Whilst Lindsay has a long and lean body shape, nearly all of the poses we chose for her are suitable to make any body type look great - and for women of any age. We photograph women to make them feel good, look amazing and most importantly, to create images they will be proud of for many years to come.
A portrait shoot isn't 'all about you', or for people who love having their photograph taken. It's actually much bigger than that; it's a chance for you to reconnect with yourself as a women, to learn that you are truly beautiful, and to create images that your family will love, too. It's empowering and self-esteem boosting. We all could do with a bit of that in these dark winter months!
