Finding My Chazown

Chazown: Hebrew for vision
Without a vision, the people perish. Proverbs 29:18
The purpose for finding my Chazown is to find my vision in life. What is God calling me to do? For so long, I thought it was sports. Then I thought event planning. I wasn't sure and still not 100% sure I know what Gods plan for me. I loved reading this book because it allowed me to look back on everything in my life both good and bad. I am a strong believer that you can learn something out of the bad things you just need to open your eyes to see it. It's not always there the first time, but each time you go back and look at a situation you'll see something different. At least, I do. 
In Chazown, we look at 3 different circles: Core Values, Spiritual Gifts, and Past Experiences. These 3 circles over lap each like a Venn Diagram. My core values describe me pretty well on the things that I value: Accountability, Encouragement, Faith, Family, Leadership, Personal Growth, Prayer, and Respect. My values are me completely. All the things are characteristics of me. 
My gifts are: Writing, Hospitality, Craftsmanship, Music, and Discernment. Again, my gifts are all me. I love all these things. I love writing, and have wrote since I was a little girl. I stopped writing for a little bit in college, but excited to restart writing more consistently. Thus, the reason for starting my blog. It's a way to let me release my feelings. Music was me, but not so much anymore. I use to be a music major my freshmen year then decide it wasn't for me. I have always been a crafty person whether it be scrapbook or knitting. 
I can't wait until our church does another Chazown session. I want to take what I have done so far and have them help with my past experiences and personal statement. I think I have a good idea on what God wants me to do, but I would love someone to reaffirm that. I have been praying about it daily for God to show me his way. Next, I just need to work on a 100 day plan and journal for my Chazown.
