FirstMed Health and Wellness Center Offers Free Medical, Counseling Services, Financial Assistance to Victims and Families of Las Vegas Massacre
FirstMed Health and Wellness Center (FirstMed), a community-based wellness center serving Las Vegas’ underserved populations, is prepared and eager to assist sufferers of last night’s tragic shooting by providing free health care, counselling, prescription review and refills (as appropriate) and support services.
During 2017 VOCA (Victims of Crime Act) funding from the State of Nevada, FirstMed is in a position to assist sufferers and their families together with costs related to the catastrophe. This includes helping families to pay the cost of flying into Las Vegas or covering the cost of assisting sufferers to fly residence, temporary home, extending hotel room remains, meals, clothes, personal hygiene products, brand new meds and prescription refills, and items for children and infants.
