But until now, our love of their products had been limited to their range of toys and walkers - but did you know that as of March 2014, Fisher-Price are now producing a feeding range?
We were lucky enough to be given the chance to try out some of the new products before their general release, and report back to our readers on what we thought.
We were sent three products to try.
The Stack n Store sippy cups (£7.49 per pack of 2) - I loved the bright coloured designs of these, and the easy-grip handles which Tyne had no trouble at all in using.A sippy cup is a fairly introduction to Tyne, but I'm pleased to say he was able to use it with ease and minimal guidance from me.
Of course - babies being babies, he did drop the cup from his highchair a few times - whenever this happens I`m always nervous that the cup will break and my carpet will be juice stained, but there was no need to worry with these cups. They are super sturdy and survived every fall with no damage done, and no spillage whatsoever!
Ideal!
We were also sent a a pack of Heat Sensitive Bowls (£9.99 for a pack of 3) - I love the simple yet effective idea of these.
The number of times I've had to taste baby food that I'd really rather not taste is beyond count.I have a thing about mushy food, I despise it! but of course I've had to test it to make sure it isn't too hot...I'd rather suffer the horrid texture of baby mush than burn my babies mouth obviously (Slightly different story now he's older, I'm quite partial to stealing a fish finger in the name of "Heat testing" if truth be told!...)
These bowls take away the guess work from the task, as they quite simply change color to show when food is too hot - and change back to show when its at a suitable temperature.
And the final product we tried out were the learn to hold spoons (£5.99 for a pack of 4) - these are such a great idea for teaching baby to self feed, as they can be bent to suit whatever grip your baby has - helping them to keep hold of the spoon and successfully reach their mouths without dropping the contents.
Tyne hadn't previously been managing too well with learning to self feed but I do think these are helping him to find his way.
Overall, we have been very impressed with the feeding range and would certainly purchase more from it.
