We don’t typically celebrate Cinco de Mayo here, but I love all things Mexican after traveling from the East Coast to the West Coast almost 10 years ago. I love Mexican food so much and am such a harsh critic. Many Mexican restaurants here not authentic, although I have found a couple that are close.
I particularly love teaching units of work on Mexico to my older students (11 and 12 year olds). They love learning about Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) and all of the art and craft associated with the day.
Paula, you’ve inspired me to make some Mexican dishes.
