Disney fanatics, this is not a drill! “Frozen 2″ is officially happening!
Okay, so the most surprising thing about this announcement is that it took so long, but that doesn’t make it any less…exciting?
So, I have to admit I have some misgivings about this one. Don’t get me wrong. I love the original film, and consider it to be the first Disney princess film to actually create not one, but two self-sufficient lead female characters. Neither one got married, one became queen, and they both saved each other…and the kingdom. That’s a victory in my book.
However, adding a sequel, while it does provide the opportunity to spend more time with these awesome characters, kind of cheapens the experience.
Although, for now I’ll try to be optimistic excited. Who knows they could defy convention, and make a sequel that is better than the original.
