In the heat I shiver. No raised hairs or goosebumps; it’s a tremor worn inside out. It was a supporting beam, something integral to the structure but loosened now and its presence is known through its thrashings.

Sneaky sneaky

A trapped animal lunging

A tight winding of kinetic energy

Uncontrollable

A release?

Will I be stronger after its passage through my joints and fascia?
