Ganier Micellar Cleansing Water Review – Cleansing is Now #AlwaysAQuickie

Posted on the 15 March 2017 by Genzelkisses

As a makeup artist and someone who work in the beauty industry, aside from quality makeup products, a good makeup remover is also a must! Never ever go to bed with your makeup on (I'm guilty with this! ^^) Yes it will stain your pillow, but worse is, it can irritate your skin which can lead to breakouts and aging.

I've tried a lot of micellar cleansing water from different brands already, most of them are expensive. Until I've seen Garnier Micellar Water from YouTubers abroad and all of them (yes, all of them that I've watched on YouTube), included it in their monthly favorites! So I was wishing for this product to come here in the Philippines!

What makes micellar water different from regular makeup remover?

Micellar formulas are so light and gentle, it's a no-rinse makeup remover/cleanser!
Moisturizing ingredients can stay behind to be absorbed thus making it the best solution for sensitive and acne-prone skin.
It's an all-in-one cleanser

How does it work?

It contains a micelle, a small particle that acts like magnet and attracts dirt, oil, and makeup while hydrating your skin. Impurities are trapped within the micelle.

Just pour a generous amount onto a clean cotton pad.
Press gently on your skin to remove makeup.
Wipe gently and remove any makeup residue.

Downside?

When it comes to waterproof makeup like mascaras and eyeliners, I find them not as effective as the two-phase makeup removers specifically made for lip and eye makeup. What I do, I use cleansing water for my face and two-phase makeup remover for my eyes and lips. Then I wipe another round of cleansing water all over my face as finishing touches. When I feel so tired to go to the bathroom I don't rinse it anymore but if I have more time, I still wash my face with my favorite facial wash before I proceed to my normal skincare routine going to bed.

Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water is available in two sizes for each variant. Big bottle (400ml) is P249.00 each while smaller bottle (125ml) is P149.00. You can use it on your face, eyes, and lips! Fragrance fee, dermatologist tested, and suitable even to people with sensitive skin. Definitely one that I can recommend to your guys especially if you are in a budget.

I bring the smaller bottle with me whenever I travel and I just refill it once I'm home. My makeup clients and students love it too! Let me know if you've tried it and your thoughts by leaving a comment below!
