…go with the Flow

randy-faris-beach-chair-on-empty-beachSummer is officially upon us, and in days gone by, that meant one thing—reruns—but no more. There’s simply too much television, and ways to watch it, to ever be stuck watching reruns (unless it’s “Modern Family” or “Big Bang Theory” because those shows get better every time).

Summer is the season, when we all seem to think we have more free time, even though that usually results in  us over-scheduling ourselves and therefore having less free time. Still, for the sake of this blog post, let’s assume you’ll have more free time this summer. This being the first What to Watch Wednesday of Summer 2015, I thought I’d share some of my favorite summer (and anytime shows) to catch up on with all of that “free time” you’ll have. Enjoy:

“Wayward Pines” (FOX)

I love sci-fi any old day of the year, but there’s something about summer sci-fi that just makes it better. Whatever your expectations of “Wayward Pines” are (and I had none) prepare to be blown away. This show shocked the (you know what) out of me, and continues to do so:

“Stitchers” (ABC Family)

Faithful followers of 2WC, I know what you’re thinking: Why would you trust ABC Family again? They’ve hurt you so many times before. Remember “Bunheads?” “The Middleman?” Why would you trust a network that destroys its own quality programming in favor of teeny-bopper pleasing fluff into your heart again. Fair point, now excuse me while I cry over the loss of Dub-Dub again…
