Now you've heard of the W, right? You know that too cool for words hotel chain that's always located in the hippest part of town? Well, the Aloft is its more practical kid sister (or brother). Which means that the prices are reasonable yet the hotel is still pretty hip.

Awesome Bliss products...
And the cutest alarm clocks ever!
Not to mention an awesome bar in the lobby, a saltwater pool, a 24 hour gym, and a snack bar filled with a wide variety of victuals.
All in all, it was a pretty sweet place to stay. Except for one thing. The bed. Loved the down comforter. Loved the soft pillows. Did not care for the firm mattress. Most hotels I have stayed in recently have really stepped up on the mattress front. Plush and better that mine at home. I was disappointed the Aloft hasn't gone there yet.
But one firm mattress doesn't ruin a hotel stay and like I said I really enjoyed mine. I'm definately keeping an eye out for it on my future travels.
