Swarovski designer Elisabeth Adamer has designed the this regal Satin Crystal dragon. The base has been designed to resemble a bed of sea foam in clear crystal. As the Majestic Water Dragon is said to have the power to provide water for parched lands, it symbolises abundance, relief and balance. The sculpture pays the perfect tribute to the year of the water dragon.

Nike “Year of the Dragon”
Nike released four sneakers dedicated to the ‘year of the dragon.’ The four sneakers for this year are the Air Force 1 Low Supreme, Air Jordan 2012, Nike Kobe VII System and Nike Zoom KD IV-and the Nike Destroyer Jacket. The dragon has been aesthetically incorporated with an urban touch. The all-black Destroyer is given a premium treatment via supple black leather sleeves adjacent to an expected black wool body. Epaulettes are added to both shoulders of the jacket as well as a tonal dragon patch on the upper sleeve. Reflecting the Air Force 1’s patterned insoles, a colorful interior lining rounds out the thematic jacket. The dragon theme is illustrated through the lining, plus dragon claws embroidered both in the lining and the back. It is available in limited edition packaging as well alone or along with the Nike Air Force 1 Low.

Swarovski has designed a whole dragon-themed collection that includes men’s and women’s watches, accessories and jewelry. A twist on the Piazza Grande, the Piazza Grande Automatic Dragon Limited Edition features a black lacquered dial with a depiction of the dragon - in black, red and white - stamped at 9 o’clock. The ladies watch is the Piazza Dragon Limited Edition with a  white dragon - laced with dashes of black and red - accentuated by the white silver sunray dial.
Embellished with intricate pave miniature crystals, the Paladin collection comprises a necklace, pendant, bracelet and brooch. A line of fine leather goods for the gents, The Nightfall Dragon collection consists of a wallet, cardholder and a key-ring.  The dragon motif is embossed - its outline subtly evoked in a tone-on-tone design in black leather. Each black calfskin accessory is embellished with four Jet Hematite crystals. The Nightfall Dragon key-ring with the the octagonal form plays on the figure ‘8’, a symbol of good fortune in Chinese culture.

Here’s one for the geek. Microsoft Hardware unveiled this beauty to commemorate the Chinese year. The Microsoft Arc Touch Mouse Artist Edition Year of the Dragon is an intriguing mix of cultural art and computer gear, in a limited edition of course. Microsoft teamed with up-and-coming artist Lin Xu Pan who has interpreted a classic Chinese dragon through a paper-cut style imprinted on the Arc Touch palm rest. This five-claw crouching dragon, symbolising nobleness, was traditionally reserved for royal use. The portable Arc Touch boasts of a flexible design-pop it into an arc to turn it on, flatten it to turn it off and store-and features touch scrolling.
