As I traveled through your darkness, I tried to seek you.
Because, I wanted to be apart of you, So, you could love me too.
But, the darkness within you was dark, that I couldn’t see you and
I became lost.
I was completely lost inside your sadness ,the madness and gloom
that guides and abounds you.
I was afraid to believe this was the real you, that I perceived the darkness
a hurting pleasure, that seem to measure my every thought and move that
I became lost, and stumbled in your darkness.
Until I became stagnate on trying to open a stubborn heart.
For days I sat, I wept tissue tossed across the floor and torn apart.
Until your thoughts consume my thoughts and I became dark too.
My light that carry’s me through became dim, unanswered prayers where
no longer whispered. I wanted to live on undisturbed.
In the darkest parts, of my mine, which was you.
Such a handsome, blissful pleasure I , you in tuned.
Those where once my romantic thoughts, I think, as I see
a picture of you now happy with your now wife and child.
I can only thank the One who sees it all, who sent unlikely angels to give me
a key to unlock the chains you once use to restrain me.
And people ask, what are you Thank for?
That your darkness no longer surrounds me. But, most of all
the thing that you’d never would have let be seen.
Was, that I had always been free.
