Happy New Year! I hope your New Years was a good one. As I am sitting here in my court yard with a cold watermelon and a tall glass of iced tea by my side, I hope your New Year is a little cooler than ours. We hit 42.5 degress at 4.30 this afternoon!
Like everyone else, I sit here and reflect how my year has been. I have to say 2012 was a trying year for me and my family. We had a few trips to the emergency ward at the Children's Hospital and had to cancel our annual family trip. I still think about how scary I felt on the day and I hope I never have to feel the same way again. I know it's a long shot but maybe 2013, will give me a little break.
Highlights of this year will have to be adopting Pixel the Wonder pup into the family. He has brought joy and laughter to the family. He is ever so gentle and calm around the Lil' Tiger. I think they are going to be best friends growing up. :)
Sitting here, I don't really know what else to say. I have no wise words to say to you, I am usually not clever with words like the other seasoned bloggers out there. I have no beautiful photos to share with you today apart from the one above of me and the Lil' Tiger taken a few minutes ago while laying on my sister's couch waiting for the new year to come.
This year has gone by really quickly everything seems like a blur. I have to say that I am a little panicked and scared at the same time.
So my hope and wish for 2013, to try to slow things down and enjoy every moment of it. :)
